Abstract

The International Conference on Emerging Trends in Material Science and Technology (ICETMT-25), hosted by CMR Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, served as a dynamic platform for global researchers, academicians, and industry experts to share transformative insights in material science. This conference, organized as part of the institution’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, highlighted interdisciplinary advancements spanning nanomaterials, biomaterials, energy storage, green chemistry, smart sensors, and sustainable materials. Plenary and keynote sessions addressed critical challenges such as nanoplastics and biomolecular interactions, antimicrobial resistance, semiconductor heterojunctions for disinfection, novel nanomaterials for catalysis, and palladium-based chemotherapeutics.
